BTH/250/900/M Geobox TipperThe Geobox Tipper was designed to lift and tip Geobox (1200 x 1000 x 740mm High) at a height of 900mm and has a Safe Working Load of 250 Kgs. The lift carriage was fitted with a stainless steel tipping chute which tapered to a 900mm outlet to direct the Vials into the receiving hopper. The Geobox Tipper is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel, is a fully welded construction throughout and was designed to be mobile on castors. This Geobox Tipper was powered via a hydraulic powerpack and tipped the containers by the extension of a pair of stainless steel hydraulic cylinder to an angle of 30 degrees past the horizontal. The hydraulic cylinders were fitted with a safety check valve such that even in the unlikely event of a hydraulic hose failure, the raised bin will be safely retained. The Geobox Tipper was supplied with a floor mounted location bracket to locate the machine centrally and at the correct distance from the receiving hopper. The bracket was fitted with a magnet which would activate a switch mounted on the machine once the machine was positioned correctly. Geobox Tipper Electrical ControlThe Geobox Tipper was fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel mounted on the main frame at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). The Geobox Tipper operates on a dual pushbutton ‘hold to run’ principle such that the ‘Master’ push button and either the ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ pushbuttons must be held for the machine to operate. As soon as either button is released, the machine will stop. The control panel has two pair of volt free contacts to allow the control to be interfaced with other equipment.
