BTH/500/1550/B/G Bakery Bowl Tipper
This Bakery Bowl Tipper is a hydraulic machine that is designed to lift and tip a large VMI mixing bowl at a discharge height of 1550mm. The Bakery Bowl Tipper is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel, is a TIG welded construction throughout and was bolted to the floor. The Bakery Bowl Tipper is powered via a hydraulic powerpack and tips the VMI mixing bowl by the extension of a pair of stainless steel hydraulic cylinders to an angle of 30 degrees past the horizontal. The hydraulic cylinders are fitted with a safety check valve such that even in the unlikely event of a hydraulic hose failure, the raised bin will not fall to the floor.
Safety Guard to BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards
The Bakery Bowl Tipper was supplied complete with a safety guard to meet the guidelines of BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards. The safety guard is constructed from 40 x 40 x 3mm stainless steel box section and 2.0 stainless steel sheet which encloses the Bakery Bowl Tipper to a height of 2200mm on both sides, 1180mm at the tipping position with a pair of hinged safety guard doors at the loading position. The guard doors are electrically and mechanically interlocked preventing the Bakery Bowl Tipper from operating when a door is open. Additionally, the guard doors can only be opened when the lift carriage is at the full down position to prevent access whilst a load is raised.
Bakery Bowl Tipper Electrical Control
This Bakery Bowl Tipper was fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel mounted on the main frame at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site.
Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site. The bin in place sensor will ensure that the bin is correctly loaded into the lift carriage before obtaining control on this will allow the Bakery Bowl Tipper to operate. The guarded Bakery Bowl Tipper operation is fully latched so that pressing the ‘Up’ push button once will raise the lift to the full tip position. Once the product has been discharged, after a short time period has lapsed, the Bakery Bowl Tipper will return to the full down position. The control panel has a volt free pair of contacts which can be used to connect a ‘Call to Run’ signal if required.
