BTH/600/1000/B/G Hydraulic Guarded Bin Tipper This Guarded Bin Tipper is designed to lift and tip a 600 Litre Plastic Dolaf Container (1200 x 1000 x 780mm High) at a discharge height of 1000mm onto the end of your Conveyor. The Guarded Bin Tipper is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel, is a TIG welded construction throughout and would be bolted to the floor. This Guarded Bin Tipper would be powered via a hydraulic powerpack and would tip the containers by the extension of a pair of stainless steel hydraulic cylinders to an angle of 30 degrees past the horizontal. The hydraulic cylinders are fitted with a safety check valve such that even in the unlikely event of a hydraulic hose failure, the raised bin will not fall to the floor. Safety Guard to BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards The safety guard is constructed from 40 x 40 x 3mm box section and 3mm wire, 40mm aperture weld mesh to meet the guidelines of BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards. This guard reached to a height of 2200mm on two sides, 800mm on the tipping side with a hinged guard door on the fourth side. The guard door is electrically and mechanically interlocked preventing the Guarded Bin Tipper from operating when the door is open. Additionally, the guard door can only be opened when the lift carriage is at the full down position to prevent access whilst a load is raised. Guarded Bin Tipper Electrical Control This Guarded Bin Tipper is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the main column at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site. The control panel incorporates the following controls; Up, Down, Guard Release, Emergency Stop and a Reset Facility. The Guarded Bin Tipper operation is on a hold to run principle so that pressing and holding the ‘Up’ push button will raise the lift to the full tip position. Once the product has been discharged, pressing and holding the ‘Down’ push button will return the Guarded Bin Tipper to the full down position. The control panel has a volt free pair of contacts which can be used to connect a ‘Call to Run’ signal if required.
