PLM/300/2300/B/G Single Pillar Platform Lift This single pillar Platform Lift had a Safe Working Load of 300 Kgs and a lift height of 2300mm. The lifting platform was big enough to allow a bespoke parts trolley (800mm L x 600mm W x 1000mm H Dimensions) to be loaded by being wheeled onto the lifting platform. At the upper level, there was a landing plate to allow easy unloading. The machine was manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel and is a welded construction throughout. The machine was designed to be bolted to the floor without the need for a pit. The lifting is accomplished via a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column and a ¾” Duplex chain. Platform Lift Electrical ControlThis platform lift was fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which was supplied with a flying lead for mounting on the mezzanine floor leg at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). The control panel incorporated the following controls; Run, Up, Down & Emergency Stop. Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site. The platform lift operation is on a 'hold to run' dual push button principle so that a pressing the 'Run' button and the respective 'Up' or 'Down' push buttons will raise or lower the lift to the other floor level. After a trolley is loaded into the lift at the lower level, a retaining bar must be closed which will prevent the trolley from moving.
