BTH/300/900/B/G Hydraulic Box Tipper
This Hydraulic Box Tipper is designed to lift and tip a pallet box at a height of 900mm and had a Safe Working Load of 300 Kgs. The Hydraulic Box Tipper is constructed from mild steel with a durable powder coated finish, is a fully TIG welded construction throughout and would be bolted to the floor. This Hydraulic Box Tipper was powered via a hydraulic powerpack and would tip the pallet box by the extension of a pair of hydraulic cylinders to an angle of 30 degrees past the horizontal. The hydraulic cylinders are fitted with a safety check valve such that even in the unlikely event of a hydraulic hose failure, the raised pallet box will not fall to the floor.
Safety Guarding to BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards
This Hydraulic Box Tipper is supplied complete with a safety guard to meet the guidelines of BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards. The safety guard is constructed from 40 x 40 x 3mm box section and is filled with 40mm aperture x 3mm wire weld mesh. It would enclose the Hydraulic Box Tipper to a height of 2200mm on both sides, 800mm at the front with a hinged guard door on the fourth side. The guard door will be electrically and mechanically interlocked preventing the Hydraulic Box Tipper from operating with the door open. In addition, we only allow the guard door to be opened when the lifting carriage is at the full down position.
Hydraulic Box Tipper Electrical Control
This Hydraulic Box Tipper is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the safety guard at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). The control panel incorporates the following controls; Up, Down, Guard Release, Emergency Stop and a Reset Facility. The Hydraulic Box Tipper operation is latched so that pressing the ‘Up’ push button once will raise the lift to the full tip position. Once the product has been discharged, pressing the ‘Down’ push button once will return the Hydraulic Box Tipper to the full down position. The control panel has the facility for a ‘call to run’ signal to be connected if required.
Note! To allow a latched Hydraulic Box Tipper operation, you will need to provide additional guarding around the front of the Hydraulic Box Tipper and hopper to prevent access to the Hydraulic Box Tipper moving parts.
